Overnight in Belgrade

As Day 1 on our tour, we will start with our sightseeing in Serbia’s capital city – Belgrade.

Belgrade as one of oldest European cities and real crossroads of East and West has many tales to be shared. It’s also ideal place to start your Balkans Road Trip because once upon a time Belgrade was most important point between East and West or Istanbul and Wien.

A city with real mix of cultures, architectures was always known as white city! Maybe because of its position on confluence of two beautiful rivers or because of white stone that he was made of.

Belgrade Fortress stands as the biggest attraction of the city, together with St. Sava temple will be point of interests for you during city tour of Belgrade.

City that never sleeps today will show you very unique spirit which will be proudly presented by your local tour guide.

Amazing food and drinks, great restaurants and totally warm and welcome atmosphere is something characteristic for Belgrade and it will be perfect for Balkans Road Trip starting point

 

Overnight in Belgrade

Day 2 

After spending first day on tour in Belgrade it’s time to go north to Novi Sad

Only 1h of drive from Belgrade, second largest city in Serbia Novi Sad is sitting in heart of Panonian Plain.

City also known as ‘’Serbian Athens.’’ It is known for its vibrant culture, charming mix of old and modern and huge influence of Austrians- you can notice that everywhere around you.

We will walk along unskippable Dunavska Street and Zmaj Jovina street straight to Freedom Square, lively spot surrounded by historical buildings and cafes.

For end of the day, we will visit Petrovaradin Fortress, one of the most iconic landmarks in Novi Sad.

After Novi Sad we are going to Croatia

 

Transfer to Zagreb

 

Overnight in Zagreb

Day 3 we are starting in new country and new city – Zagreb

Zagreb city tour you will start in Ban Jelačić Square, the heart of the city.

Then we will go up to the historic Upper Town to see St. Mark’s Church, with its iconic tiled roof, and enjoy the panoramic view from Lotrščak Tower.

Wander through the charming streets before heading down to Dolac Market, Zagreb’s lively open-air market.

We will also explore vibrant Tkalčićeva Street, lined with cozy cafés, bars, pubs and boutiques.

 

Transfer to Plitvice Lakes

 

Overnight in Plitvice Lakes

 

Day 4

After getting sleep and peace in nature we are ready to discover Croatia’s most famous and beautiful national park – Plitvice Lakes

Plitvice A UNESCO heritage site can be best described as breathtaking natural wonder known for its cascading waterfalls, crystal-clear lakes, and lush greenery, all connected by scenic wooden pathways.

Here, we will enjoy for an hours and hours.

On Day 5 we are waking up on Adriatic coast – finally

Split is vibrant heart of Dalmatian coast and city where ancient history meets modern Mediterranean life. At its core lies Diocletian’s Palace, a stunning Roman-era complex and one more UNESCO heritage site on this tour.

The city’s waterfront promenade, Riva, is perfect for soaking in the Adriatic views and enjoying morning coffee.

After sightseeing of Split around noon, you will have a plenty of time to choose how to spend afternoon.

Our suggestion is to hop on high-speed catamaran and sail to Hvar island.

During season there is plenty of times to go and come back. Check with your tour guide.

Hvar island is one of Croatia most beautiful and lively destinations. The island main town
is Hvar, a charming old town with a 16th-century fortress that offers spectacular views over
the surrounding islands. Hvar island has a rich history, with stunning Venetian architecture
and cultural landmarks. It is also famous for its sunny climate, crystal-clear waters and lavender fields, just a perfect spot for nature lovers.

 

 

Overnight in Split

Day 6 

We are getting ready for ”Pearl of the Adriatic” – Dubrovnik.

Transfer Split to Dubrovnik will take about 3h.

City tour of Dubrovnik in most enjoyable afternoon time.

Dubrovnik is known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and striking views of the Adriatic Sea. We are starting our guided tour by visiting old town, a UNESCO heritage site.

Walking along Stradun, the main street that stretches through the
heart of the city and the city walls offers us panoramic view of the city and the sea.
Lovrijenac Fortress provides a dramatic backdrop, also famous for the TV series Game of
Thrones.

You will definitely enjoy in a mix of history, stunning architecture, and the vibrant
atmosphere of this charming city.

 

Overnight in Dubrovnik

Day 7 

Depending on your flight schedule, you can have a free time before your flight and enjoy in Dubrovnik walks on your own or we can use that time to do more sightseeing or do some adventures.

There is few options, boat tour to island of Lokrum, sightseeing of nearby Cavtat town, cable car to Srdj mountain – it’s your choice.
