Overnight in Tirana

As Day 1 we will start guided tour of Tirana from Skenderbeg Square – The heart of Tirana, named after Albania’s national hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg.

We will see some important buildings like National History Museum, Et’hem Bey Mosque beautifully decorated 18th-century mosque, Clock Tower which dates back to the early 19th century and offers a great panoramic view of the city.

In city you can see presence of 3 religions.

Beside mentioned mosque we will also see St. Paul Catholic Cathedral, and Resurrection of Christ Orthodox Cathedral one of the largest Orthodox cathedrals in the Balkans.

And for the end – famous Pyramid of Tirana originally built as a museum for communist leader Enver Hoxha, this unique pyramid-shaped structure has become an iconic, though controversial, landmark.

After tour of Tirana, we are heading to Ohrid, Macedonia.

Ohrid is picturesque old town, known for its rich history and well-preserved medieval architecture. Features ancient churches, a historic fortress, and one of Europe’s oldest lakes, making it a cultural and natural gem of the Balkans. During guided tour you will learn everything about it!

Transfer to Skopje

On the way to Skopje you will have a chance to witness views on one of wildest and tallest Balkans mountains – Shara Mountain

Overnight in Skopje

As the Day 2 of our tour begins, we are starting our guided tour of Skopje.

After road trip, we will do city tour of Skopje, city of contrasts, blending historic landmarks with modern architecture. Known for its massive statues, the iconic Stone Bridge, and the Old Bazaar, it offers a mix of Ottoman, Byzantine, and contemporary influences. The city is also famous as the birthplace of Mother Teresa and for its vibrant cultural scene.

After city tour of Skopje, we are heading to Serbia.

Next stop is Belgrade.

 

Overnight in Belgrade

Day 3 we are starting in Belgrade, which has so many things to see.

Most important city between Istanbul and Wien, where East meets West, Belgrade is a city of rich history, culture, and vibrant nightlife.

Overlooking the confluence of rivers Sava and Danube, it is home to landmarks like Kalemegdan FortressSaint Sava Temple, and Skadarlija bohemian quarter.

With a blend of Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian, and modern influences, Belgrade offers lively cafes, historic sites, and a unique charm that makes it one of the Balkans most exciting cities.

After city tour of Belgrade, we are starting road trip to Zagreb

 

Overnight in Zagreb

Day 4 is starting in 4th country and 4th capital on this road trip.

Zagreb city tour will start in Ban Jelačić Square, the heart of the city.

Then we will go up to the historic Upper Town to see St. Mark’s Church, with its iconic tiled roof, and enjoy the panoramic view from Lotrščak Tower.

Wander through the charming streets before heading down to Dolac Market, Zagreb’s lively open-air market.

We will also explore vibrant Tkalčićeva Street, lined with cozy cafés, bars, pubs and boutiques.

 

After Zagreb city tour we are going to 5th country and 5th capital on this trip – Ljubljana

Zagreb – Ljubljana road trip is only 1.5h which gives us opportunity to do Ljubljana city tour in same day.

 

Capital of Slovenia is famous for cozy, laid-back atmosphere.

We will start guided tour in Prešeren Square, the lively heart of the city, and cross the iconic Triple Bridge into the charming Old Town.

We will stroll along the Ljubljanica River, admiring colorful Baroque and Art Nouveau buildings.

We will visit Ljubljana Castle for stunning panoramic views before heading down to explore the bustling Central Market.

In the afternoon, you will have a chance to enjoy a coffee on Ljubljana streets or relax in Tivoli Park, the city’s green oasis.

 

Overnight in Ljubljana

Depending on your flight schedule on last day you can choose to do more sightseeing with your guide.

Ideal for half day tour will be Lake Bled or Postojna Cave.

Lake Bled

Just a 40 minutes drive from Ljubljana, Lake Bled is a stunning alpine getaway, known for its emerald waters, a picturesque island with a church, and medieval castle on a cliff, offering breathtaking views.

 

Another option is Postojna Cave, officially most beautiful European cave, stretching over 24 kilometers, it features stunning stalactites, stalagmites, and underground halls, which visitors explore by a unique electric train. The cave is home to the mysterious olm (proteus), a rare, blind amphibian known as the “human fish.”
